Welcome to my October 2020 email newsletter. This newsletter
is my largest yet with almost 70 fresh new coins just listed on
my website!

Fall COVID-19 Update & Market Report

Since my last newsletter over the Summer, there has been
more expected coin show cancellations. The September Long
Beach and November Baltimore shows have both been
canceled. A few smaller regional shows have started to take
place, but with limited attendance of both dealers and collectors
due to COVID-19. The major auction houses have been

performing strong. The announcement of three mega
collections being sold over the next year will test the market
with the auction of well over 100 million dollars worth of coins.
Heritage Auctions will be selling the Bob Simpson and Donald
Partrick Collections, while Stacks Bowers will be selling the
Larry Miller Collection - the late longtime owner of the Utah
Jazz. These coins have been of the market for many years and
highlights include a Gem Eliasberg 1804 Dollar and 1894 S
Barber Dime, an 1804 $10 graded PCGS PR-65+DCAM, the
unique 1866 No Motto Seated Dollar along with two Brasher
Doubloons! All of these coins will be selling with no reserve!

I have been very busy over the last few weeks acquiring some
great new coins for the website. A highlight is a special offering
of better date Seated Dollars put together over many years. I

Another highlight offering is a rare 1856 S Seated Quarter
graded PCGS MS-62 CAC from the famous SS Central
America shipwreck. Have you ever seen a silver coin from a
shipwreck that earned CAC approval? I recently acquired a
1905 S Barber Quarter in PCGS MS-66+ CAC from the famous
D. Brent Pogue Collection. There is only one coin graded finer
at PCGS and it is locked up in the famous D.L. Hansen
Collection. I am also happy to present the single finest known
1862 Half Dollar graded by PCGS - an amazing MS-66+ CAC! I
also have more of my trademark quality collector coins priced
for everyone's budget..

There is a supply shortage of coins in the market. Most dealers
that I have been talking to have had trouble with their supply
stream. With no major coin shows being held for the
foreseeable future, it will be interesting to see how dealers
react to this new reality. My online sales are at record highs,
and new inventory sells quickly. I am buying aggressively, and I

am taking an online first approach with smaller and more
frequent new purchases additions.
